Yami Gautam: A Journey from Small Screen to International Acclaim


Born on November 28, 1988, Yami Gautam's acting prowess and charismatic screen presence have made her a beloved name in the Indian film industry. Starting her career as a model, Gautam made her acting debut in television soap operas like "Chand Ke Paar Chalo" and "Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam". Her big break, however, was the comedy-drama "Vicky Donor", which not only established her in Bollywood but also garnered her a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.


Gautam's success continued with thrillers like "Badlapur" and "Kaabil". Her most significant work yet has been in "Uri: The Surgical Strike" and the satire "Bala", both released in 2019, which earned her wide acclaim and commercial success.
