Elli AvrRam: Dancing Her Way into Bollywood


Elisabet Avramidou Granlund, popularly known in the cinematic world as Elli AvrRam, has set an illustrious example in the global film industry with her bewitching presence. Born in Stockholm, this Swedish-Greek actress carved her way into Bollywood with her talented acting and enigmatic dance performances.

Elli began her acting career in 2008 with the Swedish crime film "Förbjuden Frukt," which gave her early recognition in her home country. Still, Elli was drawn to the world of Bollywood cinema. She grew up watching Hindi movies. Indian dance and colorful clothing fascinated her from a young age. Her love for Bollywood compounded when she saw the hit film Devdas at the age of 14, marking a seminal point in her life.

In pursuit of her dreams, Elli moved to Mumbai in 2012. Despite the cultural and language barriers, Elli embraced all the challenges steadfastly. She landed her first significant role in Bollywood with the comedic thriller "Mickey Virus" in 2013. What's fascinating about her success story is that she managed to land this role without knowing the Hindi language.

One of the milestones in her career was her participation in the Indian Reality TV show "Bigg Boss 7". She spent ten transformative weeks on this widely popular show, establishing herself as a household name in India.

Elli's exciting career journey also included guest appearances in numerous TV shows like Colors TV's dance reality show "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa" and hosted the reality show "The Great Indian Laughter Challenge." In accordance with her ability to master diverse roles, Elli has worked on web series like "The Verdict - State vs. Nanavati" and "Inside Edge 2".

Her discography exemplifies her fervor for dance. With electrifying performances in "Chamma Chamma" for "Fraud Saiyaan," and "Zila Hilela" in "Jabariya Jodi," Elli made her presence felt, gaining an impressive count of views on digital platforms.
